How far along? 16 weeks  Size of baby? A dill pickle (4.5 inches long) Weight gain? Somewhere in the 4-5 pounds range Maternity clothes?  I officially own maternity pants, but haven’t worn them yet! I can still wear my normal pants, but I did have to use the hairband trick a couple days ago. They were feeling a little too tight- too many Christmas cookies! Oops!! Sleep? Last night I had to sleep with a pillow between my legs because when I sleep on my side, I keep trying to roll to my tummy and that doesn’t feel good!! Queasy? The smell of raw chicken still doesn’t sit well with me. My sense of smell makes me feel like I’ve got superpowers. I can smell everything! Cravings? McDonalds sausage egg Mcmuffins are my favorite right now!! Good thing McDonalds is close to my parents house! We’ve been there more than I care to admit over the last few weeks. Movement? Last week I thought I felt the little flutter and then I second guessed myself. But last night I’m pretty positive I felt it twice as Logan and I stayed up talking in bed. We were in the middle of a conversation and all of a sudden it was there! So exciting! Plus, it made me validated that it could have been the baby I felt last week too! Weird moment this week? I have been breaking out like crazy and I’ve been lucky and never dealt with breakouts in high school or through those awkward teenage years. Making up for lost time I guess!! Best moment this week? Christmas was such a special and fun time together with Logan! We kept talking about how crazy it is that this is our last Christmas as a family of 2. We got children’s books for each other for Christmas and I can’t wait to read them to this baby!! Plus, my parents gave us the cutest little stuffed animal lamb for the baby! I’m a little obsessed with it! Looking forward too? Wednesday is my 16 week appointment and I’m really excited to hear the baby’s heartbeat again!! And I can’t wait to feel those little flutters again! Gender? Soo… we were actually supposed to be having our gender check ultrasound on Wednesday after our regular appointment, but our ultrasound technician for our doctor’s office was in an accident and broke her arm!! We weren’t going to find out the gender at the appointment, but my mom was going to get to know and throw a gender reveal party for us. Now we will have to wait and see when we can do that ultrasound another time, hopefully before the 20-week appointment!
