Of course I love shooting weddings, but what I might love even more is seeing our couples come back to us for a family session. I love to follow our couples on social media so I can see what they’ve been up to since the wedding day! It is so rewarding for me to see their marriages thrive and their families grow!
One such couple is the Bills Family. I have ran into them occasionally at Target since their wedding but I hadn’t met all their kids yet. It was so much fun to hear all about their life! I loved the girls filling me in on their Halloween plans. While we obviously had the most gorgeous fall evening and sunset, it wasn’t just that. It wasn’t their perfectly coordinated outfits, either. This session filled my heart to the brim as a young mom because I felt like we really captured this stage of life for them. From the sisterly giggles to the newly walking toddler. Of course I also had to pull just mom and dad aside for portraits of just the two of them. The ones that started it all!
