The Meridian temple was the prettiest backdrop with a clear blue sky and scorching heat for Peyton and Emily’s summer wedding. Let’s note that this wedding took place in 2019 (pre-COVID) so please don’t come at us for the group photos.
On their wedding day, Peyton and Emily were surrounded by loved ones and friends. And boy do these groomsmen know how to show up for their guy. They were all laughs and even brought backflips and dance moves to every part of the wedding.
Peyton and Emily have a relationship that just feels easy-going. Every time I have been around them I have continued to feel the ease in the way they are together and their whole wedding day felt the same way from our time at the temple grounds to them riding off in a red convertible at the end of the night- can you think of a more fun way to leave your summer reception?!
At each wedding, we always have favorite moments. Surprisingly, each wedding it’s something different! For this one, the one that definitely stood out to me was Peyton’s relationship with his mom. Man, it tugged my mama heart and made me hope that someday I’ll have that with our boys!
Peyton and Emily share their wedding day anniversary with another sweet couple that was at their wedding, Tom and Marla Jones. When I asked them at the reception how they felt about marriage and seeing these two together as newlyweds, they said, “It only gets better.” How true that sentiment is about marriage and I loved it so much, I have saved it in my phone for a year and a half!! A year and a half later, I hope this rings true for you Peyton and Emily, we hope you’ve seen your marriage just get better!
