The evening of Ashton and Kayleigh’s bridal session, the air was humid with a summer storm rolling in. I had watched the weather app all day and just prayed that we could have a good couple of hours before the storm hit. We didn’t have a big window of dates that would work for us to get this done with the two of them flying in from the east coast in the middle of different medical programs.
But the storm held off and we had the most BEAUTIFUL evening. I cannot get over how perfectly the night went and how it seemed to all just go our way. It started with such a beautiful first location that belongs to a family friend and as we finished up, we decided to try and go to the temple just up the road from this spot. When we got there, the temple gates were all closed and we didn’t think we’d be able to get any images inside the gates at all. We took a few big wide shots until a temple worked came out and opened the gates for us. When he did, the lights on the temple flickered on and gave us the most stunning temple backdrop! The storm clouds had rolled in, creating such a pretty sky to contrast the temple!
