Kray and Lexi had the most beautiful backyard wedding along the dry bed in Rigby, Idaho and I’m so honored to have been their photographer! You might remember this adorable couple from their downtown engagement session. These two just fit together so easily. I loved watching their interactions throughout the day. The way they looked at each other said it all: they’re made for each other.
The weather was calling for rain but luckily it held off until the evening, and instead gave us the most smooth, even lighting for portraits. One of my favorite moments from the day was watching Lexi walk down the aisle with her dad. Everyone could feel and see the love and bond that the two of them shared. Of course I was ecstatic to see that they were serving up none other than Reed’s Dairy ice cream for a treat during the reception — now that’s my kind of couple! (If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I have a whole Highlights dedicated to my love for ice cream!!)
Later in the evening, the storm clouds rolled in and that good old Idaho wind threatened to blow the tent down. They moved the line inside the house but after the storm passed, the party picked back up outside with a dance party that had everyone out moving and grooving. Scroll down to see Lexi’s surprise for Kray: a dance performance with her and her bridesmaids — complete with confetti at the end. It was truly epic!
