Shooting Andrew’s wedding was so much fun!! He had been the groomsmen to catch the garter at a wedding we had shot previously and it’s always a favorite getting to see familiar faces!! Andrew and Dani’s Draper temple winter wedding was kicked off by probably one of my all time favorite temple exits!! Did they come out doing backflips or dancing? Nope!! They came out just radiating SO much joy! I don’t know how you can go from seeing that to feeling anything less than happy!
It did feel a little on the chilly side that day, but the sun came out to warm us up for a few portraits and these two had thought ahead and planned to have the yummiest soups to serve at their reception. These two made sure to include a tradition that you actually don’t see too often in Utah or Idaho. Andrew’s grandma made not only their regular cake, but she made a groom’s cake as well! His cake is pictured in the post! See if you can spot it!
I always love a good dance party at a reception and these two had family and friends that just brought it to life! When parents and grandparents join in, you know it’s a good time!
